Purpose
The purpose of this page is to provide information of interest to the residents of Huntcliff Summit.
Rules Due to Covid-19
- Guest suites are available to fully-vaccinated visitors. To-go meals are available to visitors using the guest suites.
- All Home Health providers, Hospice, and private dute caregivers must be fully vaccinated
- Care givers must sign in and out every time they are in the building.
- Residents must call the front desk each day before 1:00 p.m. for the daily wellness check--770-532-3000
- Masks are required within the building or on the grounds.
- Dinner in the Dining Room is available for all residents. A weekly menu is available at the hostess stand for you to view, however you do not have to pre-select your meals for the week. Your order will be taken at your table at the time of your meal service. There is now a charge of $3.00 for room service, or $1.00 for pick-up orders. We can have two, three, or four people at a table.
- Visitors are not allowed to eat in the dining room.
- Visitation is available under the following plan:
- No more than two visitors at any one time, unless more are authorized by Lisa.
- Visitors must have waited two weeks after being fully vaccinated: the second shot, when required, or the only shot when appropriate.
- Visitors are required to present their CDC vaccination card on the first visit.
- Visitors are required to screen in and sign in and out on the i-pad at the front desk, and practice social distancing while doing so.
- Visiting hours are 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily. Visitation must be in the apartment only and a limit of two visitors at any given time.
- For those who have not yet been vaccinated, visitation in the designated visiting area will continue and the reservation process and days and times remain the same.
- Catholic services are now being held Thursdays at 10:00 and 10:15 in the bar area.
- We again have the happy hour in the bar area each afternoon from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.
- The Christian ecumenical service has restarted on Sunday mornings in the Essex room. Call Margie Bowyer at 770-645-0547 for details.
- The library is open seven days a week from 10:00 to 3:00. No more than two people at a time.
- The swimming pool is available seven days a week. No more than six people at a time.
- The fitness center is available seven days a week. No more than three people at a time.
- Manicures are available in the building.
- We may leave the grounds to take care of essential business or tasks. Calling the front desk is required for an overnight stay.
- Wellness screenings are no longer required.
- Sunday brunch is in the dining room for all residents.
- A light breakfast is being served in the dining room Monday through Saturday.
- Lunch is available in lieu of dinner. It must be eaten in the dining room (no takeout).
- Mail needs to be picked up in your cubbie.
- Packages need to be picked up at the front desk.
- The Huntcliff Summit beauty shop is back in operation.
Some other rules.
- Meals to be delivered to your apartment must be ordered as follows:
- Before 11:00 a.m. for lunch.
- Before 3:00 p.m. for dinner.
- Before 9:00 a.m. for Sunday brunch.
- Dining room hours are as follows:
- Lunch Monday to Saturday 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Dinner Monday to Saturday 4:00 p.m to 6:30 p.m.
- Brunch Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Executive Orders
Governor Kemp has terminated all executive orders related to Covid-19. So any restrictions are due to rules set by counties, cities, or particular establishments (such as Huntcliff Summit).
